Our mission is to provide a white-glove experience for busy women and moms by helping them to declutter their space while creating sustainable and organized solutions for their homes.

Kara Desmond

​Owner & Lead Organizer

Kara is a Professional Organizer and owner of Utterly Uncluttered. She has always been passionate about minimizing distractions and inefficiencies in everyday life that take away from things that are truly important. She finds joy in helping people improve their quality of life, and in 2019 decided to turn her passion into a business. Kara spends her days assisting people with saying "goodbye" to their clutter and setting up organized solutions for each client's lifestyle so they can spend more time enjoying life and less money on things they don't need. Kara holds a bachelor of arts degree in Marketing & International Business from Michigan State University and an MBA in Management & Information Systems Management from Wayne State University. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, baking, and fitness! ​

Brittney Lindabury

Lead ​Organizer & Operations Manager

Brittney is a professional organizer and started working with Utterly Uncluttered after moving back to Michigan from living in Colorado for almost four years. She likes to say, “home is where the hand is!” She enjoys spending her days with friends and family, which was a huge motivation for getting back to Michigan.  Some might wonder how you become an organizer; with her, it’s a natural talent! She has been organizing since she was a little girl. She considers herself to be Type A with a bit of a creative side! Brittney holds a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. She loves helping people, so organizing their spaces is a perfect fit for her! Brittney can’t wait to work with you on your next organizing project! ​

Arden Anton

Organizer & Operations Manager

​Arden is a seasoned professional with a background in business management and education. Arden thrives in bringing order to chaos, honed through her upbringing. Passionate about optimizing workflows and enhancing productivity, she believes in the power of creating functional spaces to truly enjoy life. Holding a Bachelor's in Business and a Master's in Education/Corporate Training from the University of Phoenix, Arden's expertise is matched by her dedication to delivering exceptional results for clients. Outside of work, Arden loves staying active, crafting delicious meals, and treasuring quality time with loved ones, all while embracing the wonders of travel! 

​Carla Geddes

Organizer & Content Manager

​Born and raised in South Africa, Carla immigrated to the United States in 2008.  She is a go-getter with a type A personality. ​
Lists, plans, calendars and organization fill every aspect of her life. With a natural talent and love for organizing, and her ability to build connections with people, Carla joined Utterly Uncluttered as an organizer and Content Creator. 
A wife and mother of 3, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and traveling. 
In addition to broadening the reach of Utterly Uncluttered and expanding her knowledge in social media strategies, Carla looks forward to helping you reclaim order and structure in your life and bring tranquility and peace to your space!

Melissa Fortino

​Organizer & Content Innovator

Melissa has been organizing professionally since 2012 but has been organizing her entire life. As a child, she used to organize her friends' playrooms & bedrooms!  Organizing has always been something that has given Melissa a sense of calm, and she looks forward to helping you unclutter your space too so that you can feel the same calm. Melissa holds a bachelor of arts in theatre from Grand Valley State University. She loves to travel, go on walks & hikes, and reads in her downtime. Spending time with family & friends is also something she loves to do.  She looks forward to organizing with you soon!​

Nancy Fullerton

​Organizer

Nancy realized at a young age her desire for everything to have a place. She would often “set” her childhood bedroom finding ways to utilize that space, insuring everything had a designated spot. That desire and her eye for design grew into a lifelong career in visual merchandising and creating visually appealing yet functional environments.
Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel Design and Merchandise Management from Michigan State University.  
She loves traveling and spending time her husband and two teenage daughters.
She can't wait to help you get organized!

Nikki Franco

​Organizer

Nikki comes to Utterly Uncluttered with over 15 years of experience working as a Speech & Language Pathologist in the public school setting.
Looking to make a career shift, Nikki wanted to merge her professional strengths of organization & communication, while also pursuing her love of helping others.
Nikki believes a home should fill a person with comfort and a sense of calm. She grew up with a lifelong love of creating pretty, but functional spaces. Nikki’s goal is to help others feel better about their home space, so they can spend more time focused on the people and activities that they love most.
​When Nikki is not spending time with her husband and two children her favorite activities include snuggling her 2 chihuahua mix rescue dogs, or on her mat in a hot yoga class.

Jen Rocchi

​Organizer

Jen comes to Utterly Uncluttered with over 20 years of experience as an Interior Designer, Jen has a natural ability for creating spaces that are both organized and beautiful. Her journey began with a degree in political science from the University of Michigan.

Jen's passion for design led her to pursue a degree in Interior Design at RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) during her 10-year stay in Melbourne, Australia.
For Jen, organizing isn't just about tidying up; it's about creating spaces that work to make life easier. She believes that an organized space is essential for a peaceful home, and her talent lies in transforming cluttered areas into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
When she's not busy transforming spaces, Jen enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two teenage kids. Whether she's taking her dog for a walk, practicing yoga, or exploring new destinations around the globe.  Jen finds inspiration in the small joys of life.
